Alert: Most Ethical Congress strikes
Chris Dodd has as much integrity as Bill Clinton, which is to say he has none. Clinton may have used his position of power to solicit a BJ from Monica. But Chris Dodd? Well, well. He’s abused his authority as a senator to orchestrate shady land deals in Ireland, kickbacks from AIG executives, and sweetheart mortgage rates from lenders who he regulates as Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. In this clip, I discuss the kickback-end of Dodd’s crookedness.
Behold, the most ethical Congress ever:
What other Dodd scandal did I miss? I’m sure at least two or three.
Btw, here’s my simple formula to assess if a politician needs to resign: Has he used his status as an elected official for personal gain? If the answer is yes, he must get the boot. Pronto!
And going back to BJ Bill Clinton for a moment: As president, he could’ve seduced nearly any intern he wanted… so he picks Monica Lewinsky? HUH?!? Are lib women that ugly and easy? Don’t know about the latter, but it’s an affirmative on the former.
Defending Rush Limbaugh
“Hell yea!” That was my response when asked by CNN to defend El Rushbo. In fact, it’s one of the most delightful things a conservative can do. The topic, which was the news cycle narrative for a few weeks, was Rush insisting that he wanted Obama’s stimulus porkulus package to fail. I proudly echoed that assertion. Fail, Obama. Fail. For the good of the country, I do not want your policies to be enacted. It’s not a matter of rooting for or against the success of big government schemes. It’s knowing that government spending has never, ever lifted a nation out of economic malaise. Not even one bit. Only private individuals creating private capital can do that. It’s basic economics (and logic) that my counterpart Franky Schaeffer didn’t grasp.
Segment 1:
Segment 2:
What’s really sad about these two segments is seeing the rapid intellectual decline and pure stupidity of Franky Schaeffer, son of the late-great Francis Schaeffer. No real conservative would have voted for Obama. In fact, if you think, as Schaeffer alleges, that the GOP has strayed too far to the Right, then voting for John McCain would’ve been a no-brainer. McCain was the least conservative candidate in the GOP primary. The self-professed “Maverick” gained his Mavericky status caving into to leftist demands, proudly thumbing his nose at the Conservative Movement.
McCain was the ultimate moderate. The moderate’s moderate. He would become orgasmic at the idea of working with Ted Kennedy. Obama, on the other hand, was the most partisan liberal senator, completely beholden to the MoveOn.org crowd. If anyone was on the “fringes,” it certainly wasn’t Mac.
Sadly, Schaeffer has a book to pimp, and he knows the formula to obtaining coverage from the “drive-by” media: attack conservatives; attack Rush Limbaugh.
Franky, you’ll have your brief minutes of fame, but I’m sure you know that your dad would be vomiting in his mouth if he were alive today to see what a complete disgrace you’ve become. The conservative poseur, that is Franky Schaeffer.
